so,
i've been here for a semester, and kids, i don't think this was the
biggest mistake of my life. yeah, i know, i did something right for a
change. actually, this whole moving thing has been one big experiment
in the whole doing things right department. my grades are way up, i
have a great job, i'm making friends slowly, which is apparently a
better way to make friends (ahem) and woah, my relationship with the
love of my life has seriously NEVER been better. i love him lots. just
wanted it to go on the record that this has been a seriously great idea
on my part. hope everyone's semester is ending well. almost summer,
hang in there! ps. just to brag, i actually, for the first time ever,
get to spend the summer with lars and not work at camp! woot!

| life is about to change again. time for some spice. it's 12:01 am
tuesday morning, and i just finished my last monday in manhattan.
bittersweet. i'm so excited about moving to lawrence! this move means
starting over both accademically and socially, and it means that lars
and i get to finally have a chance to get sick of each other. but it
also means that i'm leaving behind the people i've known over the last
3 years, people who already know that i'm awkward, crazy and (insert
favorite melania adjective here) i don't have friends in lawrence. i
have to start all over. there'll be a whole knew set of uncomfortable
introductions, mispronounced names, and nervous laughter. but hopefully
i'll come out of it with some good memories and a couple more friends.
to all my friends here, you've made the last 3 years very full. thanks
for all the memories and stories. thanks for laughing at my jokes and
letting me hog the spot light now and again. i will remember all those
hugs and tears that we've shared. thanks for being strength and wisdom
in my crazy life. thanks for making some mistakes with me and learning.
to the guys in my life (you know who you are) no regrets. just a lot of
laughs. thanks for letting freshman year turn into a joke and keeping
it light the last couple years. thanks for helping me figure out what i
really wanted out of life and love. you definitely made me stronger and
smarter.
and ever so briefly, to the ladies i've spent the last semester living with, you are all amazing and i love you!
